Corporation for Civic Documentaries

The Corporation for Civic Documentaries (CCD) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which seeks to educate and enlighten Americans about outstanding individuals of public importance. CCD aims to assist Americans, particularly children, in the formulation of a civic world-view of participation, which will serve them throughout their lives.

Founded by a student at the University of Pennsylvania, CCD is uniquely attuned to the interests and concerns of America's youth, and uses that insight to attract young people to its films. By utilizing new technologies and communication strategies, CCD succeeds in reaching young people who are normally apathetic to the political process and civic discourse. Despite its focus on youth, CCD is led by a veteran team of non-profit organizers. Please learn more about us and our mission by exploring this site.
